Juicy J – Video Blog (2050 Tour)

Juicy J is just climbing to the top of “The list of people I want to trade lives with”. This video shows us the crazy partying type of dude Juicy can be, yet at the same time it’s interesting to see how hard the dude works, and how much it pays off when his songs just climb to the top of lists. Also really cool to see him make “Know Betta” which is a JAM that just came out. Cool vid to check out and kill some time. #SnapbackNation

Juicy J – “Know Betta [feat. Wiz Khalifa]”

As my first post back from an unnecessarily long hiatus, I find it all too fitting to post this BANGER.  Juicy J teams up with the Taylor Gang general to go in over The Weeknd’s song “Montreal” which is only fitting, as the two are just wrapping up the Canadian chapter of the “2050 Tour.”  Download the track below and get wild to this song all weekend.

Movie Trailer – Wet Brownies

A movie trailer that some guys from my hometown made.Directors Will Kempner, Jeff Marks, and Chris Gilman have put together a surefire masterpiece. Word is they will be dropping it around the time Christmas break comes. The movie looks so cool to me, Kind of like a Pineapple Express mixed with Superbad. These kids are incredibly funny, down to earth, and talented with cameras in their hands. I’m pretty psyched to see what this film should bring. Enjoy..

Kendrick Lamar – The Jig Is Up (Prod. by J. Cole)

Kendrick dropped this guy on Twitter today around 4. Kendrick is so cool, he dropped this song because he wanted to show how thankful he is for all the support he’s been getting from GKMC. What’s even cooler is that he finished this song LAST NIGHT. Have to respect all the hard work this guy puts into his product. If you don’t have a twitter every rapper in the world was showing love to Kendrick for taking the game over for a little bit. Hop on the Kendrick train and bump this song!

Mac Miller – He Who Ate All The Caviar

Mac Miller/Sgt. Pepper Theory/Larrythefisherman/Whatever the he calls himself these days dropped a few new tracks on twitter this week. One of them being “These Dayz” which I won’t dare put up on this site. I am one of the few remaining Mac enthusiasts. He has “changed” his ways a bit, but I think that he is still putting out fuego. A lot of need to look at him like they would with Tyler the Creator, or Kid Cudi. The dude is a genious, great musician, and beginning to actually make great beats. He might seem weird, or drugged out – but he’s just being him and messing around. This song and video reminds me of why I like Mac, Because he’s funny as hell. Try to watch this video as if it was your friend that made it, You will enjoy it so much more. “Don’t take life too seriously, you’ll never make it out alive.”

New Artist – Tom Flammini

Introducing Tom Flammini from Mansfield, Mass. Tom is my neighbor here at Springfield College and turned his room into a studio. The kid makes some sick instrumentals using everything from guitars, hand made wooden boxes for drums, even beer bottles filled with water. He’s always working on his music and tries putting out new songs every two days or so. Some good music to kick it to on this Saturday evening, maybe even freestyle over some of the beats. Give it a listen and if you like what you hear check out his full soundcloud at soundcloud.com/tflammini

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis- The Heist (album)

I can’t tell you how real this music is. It is a breath of fresh air to a fan who has been craving something from Hip Hop that is worth actually listening to. Macklemore is original, true and speaks his mind. He talks about today and everything that we experience as average humans on a regular basis. It’s not your get money bull shit or something about racks. Ryan Lewis brings the same alternative and different production to keep pace with Macklemore lyrically. The sound of horns in Hip Hop will never get old. I ask you to give this album time and purchase it off itunes or in a store because the hard copy is a throwback thing to do. Enjoy! #snapbackin

MGK: Lace Up The Documentary (Trailer)

A pretty sweet trailer to what should be a killer documentary. MGK is one of the more interesting artists in the game right now. He brought a resurgence to the punk rap game and has created an amazing group of loyal fans. The dude may seem weird to some, but I think this documentary will open a lot of eyes. When I look at this guy I don’t see a grungy scumbag rapper like most others. I see a hard-working, talented, original rapper. So often we see rappers that let the game change them, it’s good to see a dude that stays true to his goal, and his styles. Lace up!

Lgic – Steps Back Radio Freestyle ft. Mikkey Halsted

Yes, Yes, Yes! Logic, if you don’t know about him get on it now. This kid is going to be the next big thing, ask anybody here at Snapback and we will reassure that for you. The dude is untouchable. Such an amazing artist from his lyrics, flow, swag, and flat out skills the kid is raw. Give a listen to this freestyle and hop on the Logic bandwagon or I will come to your house, ring your doorbell several times, and leave before you get the chance to come to the front door! #RattPack
